RPA start making 2017 BPS payments

Payments from the Rural Payments Agency have already started to make their way into claimants account for the 2017 Basic Payment Scheme and as seen from the payments already received these are on average 5% higher compared with 2016.

We would ask that all claimants who have received payments to check their claim statements when they arrive to make sure they have been paid correctly. If you feel that the payment is incorrect then please contact our Agricultural department for assistance.

The payment window will run until June 2018 with a majority of claimants paid in December and January, however some may have to wait a little longer especially if their holdings have been inspected or contain cross-border and or common land. Any delays are mainly due to these claims taking longer to process and does not mean there is an issue.

Over 60% of Wilbys clients have received their payments already and we expect this to increase over the next few weeks.
