Sale Report - Highfield Farm, Rotherham

On a brisk November morning a substantial crowd gathered for the genuine retirement dispersal sale for Richard Brooke. The sale was a result of Richard and his wife Lynda’s decision to retire from farming thus ending a long association with the Wentworth Fitzwilliam Estate stretching back over 5 generations and 135 years.

The sale provided an extensive range of well-maintained farming machinery together with tools, workshop spares and sundries. As a result of Richard’s care and attention to his equipment coupled with buyers from the East coast, the Midlands and all Ridings of Yorkshire, the bidding was fierce and the sale highlights included:

New Holland TM155 tractor (reg. NR04 BWS) - £19,800

John Deere 3400 teleporter (reg. YD52 WRS) - £21,200

Opico Magna 1200 QF mobile grain dryer - £7,000
